Talk to Me by Henry Meinesz

Henry Meinesz was born in Phalaborwa, on the edge of Kruger National Park, where a childhood surrounded by wildlife shaped his lifelong connection to nature and art. After military service and working across Namibia, Europe, and Rhodesia’s television industry, he moved to Australia in 1980.There, he built a career as a film director specialising in television commercials, while continuing to paint and sketch. Now age 75 and experiencing vision loss due to macular degeneration, Meinesz is preparing what may be his final exhibition—large-scale charcoal sketches that capture his enduring creative spirit.
