3 Minotaurs by Auguste Blackman
"The 3 Minotaurs obviously reflects Auguste, Barnaby and Charles. What a fantastic trio, having drinks, perhaps about to get out of control. Charles as Pablo Picasso, Barnaby as Guillaume Apollinaire, and Auguste contemplating one too many as Douanier Rousseau."
Auguste Blackman was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1957 to an artist father, Charles Blackman OBE, and writer mother, Barbara Blackman AO. A prolific artist in his own right, Auguste continues to carve out his own niche while he establishes an enviable reputation and continues the family legacy. Involved in innumerable solo and joint exhibitions his work is held in a huge number of private collections nationally and internationally.
